The Service Desk provides a single point of contact between our customers and IT Services. IT supports enterprise administrative and academic applications and databases which are used by TCTC to "run the institute's business".
TCTC has a variety of web services including: TCTC Public Web, Activities Calendar, Blackboard and eTC portal. This service includes website development, web marketing and analytics, web content publishing, and collaboration tools.
Strategic practices are a set of IT disciplines that support the activities, services and deliverables of IT Department to ensure that rigor and best practice methodologies are applied to the efforts and contributions to TCTC's success.

The IT Operations provides interconnectivity between servers, computers and printers on all of the TCTC campuses that supports TCTC's main applications and systems. IT Operations manages both the academic, and administrative, servers that support TCTC's enterprise applications and teaching activities. We also protect institute data on the network storage systems with scheduled data backups and provide file recovery services. Set network/system maintenance windows for downtime are posted on eTC.
High speed network printing, copying, scanning and Scantron services are available for students and staff at all the campuses.

Alerts the TCTC community in the event of a weather or critical incident emergency. Information is conveyed on phone speakers throughout campus, displayed on the screens of ITS-managed computers, and sent to the cell phones of students, faculty and staff by text message (for those who opt in).

A high definition telephone and voicemail system that utilizes Voice over IP (VoIP) and allows voicemails to be delivered to email as well as for voicemail to be checked through a web interface. This system also has Unified Communications features: the integration of two or more communication services into a single interface, such as telephone, video conferencing, instant messaging, presence, voice mail and email.
The CIO of IT leads the College’s IT project management efforts. IT receives project requests from all divisions and departments across campus and balances the various requests in the context of College’s strategic plan.
