Dr. Mary Scott West to Discuss Her Experiences as a Peace Corps Volunteer

PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College’s Enrichment Series continues this month with two presentations by Dr. Mary Scott West about her experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer.

Dr. West, who teaches psychology at the College, will gives presentations Wednesday, February 28, at 12:20 p.m. in Oconee Hall, Room 205, and again at 6 p.m. in the Marshall J. Parker Auditorium.  She will talk about her experiences of living in Africa while she was a Peace Corp volunteer.  Dr. West has been teaching psychology at colleges and universities in Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia since 1988.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and master’s and Ph.D. degrees in social psychology from the University of Georgia.

The presentation is sponsored by Tri-County’s Enrichment Series Committee and is free and open to the public.
