Tri-County to Offer Free Training Seminars September 19 - 21

PENDLETON ---Diversity in the workplace, EZone Train the Trainer and CPR for Adults are among the topics for seminars created for business and industry and offered free of charge by Tri-County Technical College during S.C. Industry Appreciation Week (September 19 - 21).
"To show our appreciation for our business and industry partners, the World Class Training Center will present these informative seminars at no cost," said John Benson, director of the World Class Training Center. "It's our way of saying thank you to industry for locating here and providing employment for the citizens of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties," he added.
Complimentary seminars will be taught by the experienced industrial trainers of the World Class Training Center staff and expert adjunct instructors with extensive backgrounds in industry.
Generations: Appreciating Diversity will be held Tuesday, September 19, and again Wednesday, September 20. Both seminars are set for 1 - 2:30 p.m. and will be taught by Phyllis Turner, an instructor in the World Class Training Center.
Frank Harmon, a certified instructor and paramedic, will teach CPR for Adults Tuesday and again on Thursday, September 21, from 1 - 4 p.m. This course is especially designed for lay responders, workplace emergency responders and family members of patients at risk.
Ron Humphries, an instructor in the World Class Training Center, will talk about meeting EZone Train the Trainer requirements Wednesday, September 20, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Taking this course will qualify participants to conduct in-house training for EZone qualified personnel who meet reimbursement requirements.
