Summer Smart Fun for Kids Program Planned at Tri-County Technical College

PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College will offer a Smart Fun for Kids program June 5-8 and June 13-15, for children ages 8-13.  Programs are planned for Tri-County’s main campus in Pendleton and at the Anderson Mall classroom location.
         
Smart Fun Program Directors Trenna Metts and Sandra Strickland say the College has developed a collection of innovative children’s educational programming that ‘s fun and will keep kids engaged while they are out of school this summer.

According to Metts, the main campus will offer program such as Cool Cooking, Robotics for Fun, Tri-County Sports Camp, Babysitting Basics & Beyond, An Artist a Day and Adventures in Manners & Modeling.

According to Strickland, the Anderson Mall location will offer Entrepreneurship Fun Week, Computer Technician Survivor Week and Action! Digital Movie Making Week.

Participants will choose from the all day weekly program for $120/week or day weekly programs for $79/week.  A limited shuttle service is available to those participants who wish to split their time between campus and the mall.
