PENDLETON ---Tri-County Technical College joins colleges from across the state in providing assistance with college financial aid forms at an upcoming College Goal 2010 event.

Set for Saturday, February 27, this one-stop center for financial aid information will be open to students and their parents from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Pickens Hall Room 140 on the Tri-County Technical College Pendleton campus.  This is an opportunity for current and prospective college students to get assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Financial aid professionals from Tri-County Technical College, Southern Wesleyan University, Clemson University and other colleges will be on hand to help college-bound students and their families with the financial aid application process.

“It doesn’t matter which college you plan to attend, we will help you with the financial aid process,” said Bill Whitlock, director of financial aid at Tri-County.

Please note that students and parents should bring their 2009 Federal tax information, along with their driver’s license, to complete the FAFSA.
