PENDLETON -- Tri-County Technical College’s 17th Annual College and Career Fair has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 10.  This community-wide event will be held on the Pendleton Campus in the Student Center from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Several local employers will be accepting resumes from job seekers, and college representatives from across the state will be available to speak with students about their educational goals.

This year’s event is a collaborative effort between TRiO’s Student Support Services (SSS) program, Career Services and the College.  “We are expecting more employer participation this year than we had last year,” according to Alison Reynolds, job placement coordinator in Career Services.

The event is a prime opportunity for soon-to-be graduates and persons who are looking for employment to talk about employment opportunities with recruiters and managers and to develop of network of career contacts.  “This is a way for us to help students and the community with their career goals and in their job searches,” said Cindy Trimmier-Lee, coordinator of SSS.  “It is a great opportunity for persons to be exposed to these resources in one place.”
