PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College joins colleges from across the state in providing assistance with college financial aid forms at an upcoming College Goal 2009 event.

Set for Saturday, February 28, this one-stop center for financial aid information will be open to students and their parents from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Student Center on the Tri-County Technical College Pendleton campus.  This is an opportunity for current and prospective college students to get assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Financial aid professionals from Clemson University, Southern Wesleyan University, Tri-County Technical College and other colleges will be on hand to help complete the necessary paperwork to get the funding needed to go to college.

“It doesn’t matter which college you plan to attend, we will help you with the financial aid process,” said Bill Whitlock, director of financial aid at Tri-County.

Please note that students and parents should bring their 2008 Federal tax information, along with their driver’s license, to complete the FAFSA.

For more information, contact the Tri-County Technical College Financial Aid Office at 864-646-1650.
