PENDLETON --- The Columbia Marionette Theatre will present two performances of Rockin’ through the Ages January 26 at Tri-County Technical College’s Pendleton campus.
This musical medley will feature your favorite performers, such as Elvis, Tina Turner, James Brown, the Beatles, Madonna and others, in the form of marionettes. Performances are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Marshall Parker Auditorium in Oconee Hall. The event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the College’s Arts and Sciences Enrichment Series Committee.
Founded in 1988 by Allie Scollon and her son, John, as a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, the Columbia Marionette Theatre has grown and established itself as a premiere children’s theatre in South Carolina. Its mission is to entertain and educate children and adults across the state through the long-standing tradition and artistry of puppetry.
