PENDLETON ---  A free Self Defense class will be offered twice at the Tri-County Technical College Anderson Campus.  Persons may choose to attend on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to noon or on Tuesday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Students will receive self-defense tips and tactics.  In addition, they will learn how to defend themselves using a specialized key chain while incorporating the five-zone method of personal protection, enabling them to avoid trouble rather than to simply be taught how to react to it.  According to instructor Randy Creamer, this is an excellent class for the entire family. Ages 13 and up are welcome to enroll.  The optional key-chain device will be sold in class.  Pre-registration is required.  To register, call (864) 260-6700.
