Leaders in Anderson County Democratic, Republican Parties to Speak at Tri-County Technical College February 6 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 1/30/2008 CONTACT: JENNIFER BEATTIE, 646-1333 (By Lisa Garrett) PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College’s Enrichment Series kicks off February 6 with presentations by leaders in the Anderson County Democratic and Republican parties. “Trying to Decide? Pick a Side” will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Marshall J. Parker Auditorium. Political Science instructor Bob Peter will open the discussion with comments about the importance of voting. Lee Rogers, chair of the Anderson County Republicans, and Stuart Sprague, chair of the Anderson County Democrats, will follow with an overview of both parties. The presentation is sponsored by Tri-County’s Arts and Sciences Enrichment Committee and is free and open to the public.
