State Politics 101 Session Set for September 29 at Tri-County CONTACT: JENNIFER BEATTIE, 646-1333 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 9/3/2008 (By Lisa Garrett) Learn more about the State Senate candidates for Anderson County’s District Three seat at an interactive and informative session set for September 29 at Tri-County Technical College. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 7 – 9:30 p.m. in the Marshall Parker Auditorium on the Pendleton Campus. This event is sponsored by the Arts and Sciences Enrichment Series Committee. This session features Kevin Bryant, incumbent, and Dr. Marshall Meadors, challenger, along with Bob Peter, Political Science instructor at Tri-County. An interactive Q & A session will be included. This session will introduce the audience to state-level politics by explaining what the job of your state senator is.
