PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College will offer an online Creating Web Pages class starting August 15.

According to Tri-County’s Computer Training Director, Dr. Brian Swords, students will learn to create and post their very own website on the Internet in this extensive, hands-on, six-week online workshop.

“First, they’ll learn about the capabilities of the World Wide Web and the fundamentals of web design,” says Dr. Swords.  “Then, they’ll plan the content, structure and layout of their website, create pages full of neatly formatted text, build links between the pages and to the outside world, and add color, backgrounds, graphics, tables, hot buttons and animation.  They’ll also learn critical and timely information on securing the best possible location in search engine listings and powerful no-cost or low-cost web marketing strategies.”

The cost of the online class is $89.  For more information or to register visit www.tctc.edu/ed2go or call (864) 260-6700.
